At Cadet College Kohsar, the weekly schedule is designed to balance academics, physical training, and recreational activities, fostering a well-rounded development environment for cadets. Here’s a glimpse into the key aspects of the weekly routine:

Supervised Prep Classes

  • Schedule: Supervised prep classes are conducted daily to ensure cadets receive academic support and maintain discipline in their studies.
  • Exceptions: These classes are off on Saturdays, giving cadets a well-deserved break from the structured academic routine.

Movie Night

  • When: Every Saturday after dinner.
  • Purpose: This weekly activity offers a refreshing change of pace, providing entertainment and fostering camaraderie among cadets.

Outdoor Activities

  1. RWR (Recreational Walk & Relaxation)/Hiking:

    • Frequency: Observed on alternate days by each house.
    • Supervision: Conducted under the guidance of DI (Drill Instructor) and PTI (Physical Training Instructor).
    • Objective: To instill a sense of adventure, physical endurance, and teamwork.
  2. Sports & Physical Training (PT):

    • Frequency: Regularly observed to promote physical fitness and sportsmanship.
    • Supervisors:
      • Sher Alam (DI)
      • Mrs. Nazia (PTI)
      • Supported by all four wardens.

Physical Training Program

  • Overview: The physical training program is a critical aspect of the cadets’ routine, supervised comprehensively by Ali (DPE). This program ensures cadets remain physically fit and mentally robust.

Dress Code Guidelines

The cadets follow a well-defined dress code that aligns with their weekly activities:

  • Friday:

    • Attire: Blue Shalwar Suit with waistcoat and closed shoes.
    • Purpose: Adds a formal touch to end the week on a disciplined note.
  • Sunday:

    • Attire: Tracksuits.
    • Purpose: Facilitates comfort during a relaxed schedule of activities.
  • Monday to Thursday:

    • Attire: Khaki Uniform paired with Delta Shoes.
    • Purpose: Maintains a professional and uniform appearance during academic and training hours.
  • Saturday:

    • Daytime: Walking Out Dress.
    • Evening: Civvies or colorful attire for a more casual and cheerful setting.
